Several roads closed in North Lexington after storm downs trees, knocks out power

Several roads were flooded or blocked by downed tree limbs Thursday evening in the Masterson Station neighborhood of North Lexington.

Spurr Road, between Sandersville Road and Barleys Pass, was blocked by a large tree, and Barleys Pass was blocked by flash flooding as of 6:30 p.m.

Sandersville Road, between Citation Boulevard and Spurr Road, was passable, but parts of the road were blocked by downed trees.

Several other roads had standing water, including in the area of Leestown and Greendale roads.

Almost 5,000 homes in Lexington were without power as of 7:40 p.m…
