The dip in the jet stream responsible for the lower humidity values is expected to relax as we head into the weekend, allowing ridging to return to the region. This ridging will lead to a more southerly flow of air, increasing temperatures and humidity levels. Expect a weakening piece of energy to approach late in the day leading to a few showers, mainly across southern Indiana. Highs will be in the lower to mid 90s.

By Sunday, we’ll be keeping an eye on an approaching cold front moving toward the Ohio Valley. This could lead to the development of showers and storms late in the day Sunday into Sunday night. Highs on Sunday will once again reach the lower to mid 90s.
