LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Some parents of children who were attending Camp Mystic in Texas are suffering great loss, but a Texas native, now a Lexington resident, is making it his mission to send love from Kentucky.
Father Jim Sichko is a priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lexington and a native of Southeast Texas. This means the recent devastating flood hits home for him.

“When the flooding did occur, you’re always worried if there’s someone that may be of relation or someone you may know,” Sichko said.
The night of the flood, Father Jim got a text from a friend whose grandchild is missing in the aftermath, along with many others. The friend asked for prayers, which Father Jim agreed to do…
