Man wanted on parole violation, found with suspected meth, oxycodone

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) – Police in Laurel County arrested a Scott County man Thursday, reportedly finding meth and oxycodone in his possession.

At a traffic safety checkpoint on East Laurel Road, police encountered Larry Bartley, 31, of Georgetown and discovered that he was wanted on a Board Parole Violation Warrant.

Police said they found the drugs on Bartley while they were taking him into custody…
