‘You’re just completely out’: Recovery support in Kentucky slashed amid major budget cuts

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Addiction recovery centers across Kentucky are facing new challenges after major budget cuts from companies that manage Medicaid.

Isaiah House, Kentucky’s largest non-profit addiction recovery organization, has spent the last few weeks making changes.

“Just trying to pivot, figure out a way to make it work so that these individuals don’t give up on their journey to sobriety,” said Isaiah House chief development officer Kara Ball.
