VERSAILLES, Ky. (KT) – By the end of July, Versailles Baptist Church will have completed mission trips across four continents in one month.
Nearly four dozen members, including 14 staff and lay leaders, have participated in international mission trips to Japan, Ecuador, Kenya and Victoria British Columbia.
Versailles Pastor Connor Alford said it has been an exciting time as dates and trips kept filling up. He said the church has been “giving forever” but now it is also going.
“We did a mission vision and core values, and in re-visioning we wanted a global presence as a church,” Alford said. “Part of that is certainly Versailles, the Bluegrass and Kentucky. We have plenty of partnerships. We want to have a global presence in a lot of places.”…
