LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Good Saturday afternoon, everybody! A cold front will approach the area this evening, bringing a few showers and storms. Other than that, the pattern doesn’t change much.
Some clouds will be with us for this evening as we see a decaying line of storms trying to make it into the area. A stray shower or thunderstorm will be possible overnight as it stays warm and muggy with lows around 70. There could be an isolated strong to severe storm with damaging winds as the main threat.
Cloudy skies will be around to start Sunday with peeks of sunshine later in the day. Again, a stray shower or thunderstorm can’t be ruled out, but most stay dry. It will be a very warm and humid day with highs in the mid to upper 80s. A couple of scattered showers and thunderstorms could arrive very late in the overnight…
