Shooting prompts conversation about protecting domestic violence victims

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Concerns about protecting domestic violence victims have risen following a shooting spree Sunday in Lexington.

According to a Fayette County District Court record, Guy House was expected in court Tuesday, July 14, which would have been the day after the shooting, for an emergency protective order filed by Kimberly Himes Saturday, July 5.
