WEKU has experienced a major equipment failure, resulting in temporary schedule adjustments.
On Saturday evening, a power surge from a storm near Richmond damaged a key piece of equipment that WEKU uses to broadcast local programming and provide its daily broadcast schedule of programs to listeners on all 10 of WEKU’s broadcast stations, as well as the internet stream and the WEKU App.
