LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Two Nashville men were sentenced on Friday to at least five years in prison after robbing three banks in a year-long crime spree.
The Department of Justice said 26-year-old Markwez Wynn and 26-year-old Stephen Hampton robbed three banks in Tennessee, Indiana, and Kentucky between May 2023 and May 2024.
According to their plea agreements, Wynn threatened to kill the teller while robbing a bank solo in Nashville. In the other two robberies, the DOJ said Wynn robbed the bank while Hampton served as the getaway driver…
