LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Federal investigators reportedly know who’s responsible for the unsolved death of Kristopher Lewis, but two years later, charges still haven’t been filed.
The series of documents, filed from June 4 to July 16, relates to alleged Hot Boyz gang member Quincino Waide Jr., who faces indictment for possessing a firearm although prohibited due to a domestic violence conviction. Officials are working to determine if Waide should be eligible for bond awaiting trial.

“According to FBI Special Agent Isaac Robison, Waide is a member of Hot Boyz, a criminal street gang in Lexington, Kentucky,” U.S. Magistrate Judge Matthew Stinnett wrote. “Hot Boyz is associated with the ‘West End’ and frequently feuds with rival ‘East End’ gangs. These feuds have often resulted in violence and death.”

Around 8:20 a.m. on September 29, 2023, gunfire rang out between a pair of warehouses on Trade Street. Lexington police said officers found 28-year-old Kristopher Caylin Walker Lewis’s body in a parking lot.
Special Agent Robinson reportedly testified that Lewis became an informant after he was indicted alongside Rollie Lamar in 2022 for conspiracy to distribute marijuana and commit money laundering. Before Lewis could testify against Lamar, he was killed…
