Baptist Health breaks ground on Georgetown hospital

GEORGETOWN, Ky. — Baptist Health is expanding patient access in central Kentucky, hoping to make some medical decisions easier for patients. On Monday, the hospital organization broke ground on its newest facility in Georgetown.

Coming in 2026, another hospital opening in the growing community of Georgetown and Scott County.

“It’s all about access to care, and so it offers the residents of Georgetown and Scott County easy access to care whether it’s urgent care or ER care,” said Chris Roty, COO of Baptist Health Lexington. “When communities see extensive growth like they’re seeing here in Georgetown, you need access, more access points in convenient locations, so that’s what this will do.”…
