Lexington man pleads guilty to fatal 2024 shooting on Delaware Avenue

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Lexington man has pleaded guilty to a reduced charge in connection with a fatal 2024 shooting on Delaware Avenue.

Luis Ramos, 30, pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter, according to court documents, after fatally shooting DaQuan Collins, 24, in August.

Officers were called to a disorder between the two men around 5 p.m., where they found Collins critically injured. He was rushed to an area hospital, where he later died.
