NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — Jessamine County Sheriff Kevin Grimes said there’s one request his office gets a lot—especially in the summer, when families leave for vacation or spend a few days out of town.
“What typically happens is people will call in or ask dispatch, tell people that, you know, ‘Hey, we’re going out of town, can we get extra patrol?’” Grimes said.

“Short, sweet. Very, very easy to do, but really very effective in a neighborhood watch program,” Grimes said.
