Escaped Lexington prison inmates reportedly apprehended in Versailles

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Kentucky State Police (KSP) announced on Sunday that two inmates were apprehended in Versailles on Sunday after escaping from the Blackburn Correctional Complex.

Just before 9 p.m. Saturday, July 26, state police said 32-year-old Michael Reynolds of Russellville and 30-year-old Jonathon Mullins of Somerset couldn’t be found by prison staff.

KSP said in a news release around 4:10 p.m. on Sunday that Mullins and Reynolds had both been apprehended in Versailles and lodged in the Woodford County Detention Center. They were each charged with second-degree escape and are being held on a $20,000 bond.
