“I will have a lot more to say about our 30-year run in the weeks to come, but right now I think it’s important to mention that the decision to sell the store is for personal reasons, not financial,” the store wrote on Facebook. “Our support from the community has been incredible and the business has thrived and grown every year right up to the present. On the other hand, we’re all getting older and eventually thoughts turn toward retirement, spending more time with family, and letting go of the constant personal stress of running a business.”
August will be CD Central’s last full month of business, with their final day open shortly after Labor Day.
