Charlie and his Lexington owner were inseparable. Then the parrot went missing.

Chuk Trisko, who recently moved from Washington to Lexington, and his parrot, Charlie, have been inseparable for the last 20 years.

But on Thursday, when the two were outside Trisko’s apartment off Mason Headley Road in Lexington, the African Grey parrot flew into the trees, up in the air, and went missing.

“She’s just out there somewhere,” Trisko said. “If anybody sees her, I’ll pay $500 as a reward to get her back.”…
