JACKSON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A woman is in the University of Kentucky Medical Center after being shot multiple times on Thursday night, and two men have been accused of trying to kill her.
Kentucky State Police (KSP) said in a news release that just before 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 7, Post 13 in Hazard got a 911 call reporting a shooting on KY-30 West in Jackson.

At the scene, first responders reportedly found a woman who’d been shot multiple times, and emergency personnel immediately worked to keep her alive. She was taken to a nearby landing zone and flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center, where authorities said she’s stable.
According to court documents, the victim was at her home when two men came up and asked if her husband was home. After a short conversation, she asked the men to leave when they allegedly shot through the glass door multiple times…
