‘All involved parties’ stable after Georgetown ambulance, motorcycle collide, officials say

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (FOX 56) — Officials in Georgetown told the public that emergency personnel and the driver of a motorcycle who were involved in a Saturday crash are in stable condition.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 9 at the intersection of South Broadway Street and West Showalter Drive, according to Georgetown and Scott County EMS.

After the crash, ambulance crew members and the motorcycle driver were all taken to the University of Kentucky Emergency Department for evaluation and treatment, and everyone involved in the crash was reported to be stable.

“We are thankful that our crew members and the driver of the other vehicle are recovering,” emergency officials wrote. “The safety of our team and the community we serve is always our top priority.”…
