LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The on-ramp leading onto a busy Lexington highway has been shut down until further notice on Tuesday morning after a semi-truck hauling gravel flipped over.
Right before 10 a.m. on Aug. 12, the Lexington Traffic Management Center announced on social media that the on-ramp onto I-75 from North Broadway was shut down due to the semi crash.
Traffic officials said there’s also a large fuel spill that needs to be cleaned up. Motorists will need to access I-75 southbound from Newtown Pike or Winchester Road.

Around 10 a.m., traffic management in Lexington noted that a large tow truck was on the scene along with other responding crews to assist with cleanup efforts. Just after 12:30 p.m., the on-ramp to I-75 southbound was confirmed to be reopened…
