MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A man is facing multiple charges after police say he attacked a woman on a walking trail in Mount Sterling.
According to Mount Sterling police, 28-year-old Dakota Miles was arrested Monday following a report of an assault on the Adena Trail. Investigators say Miles is accused of forcing the victim off the trail into a secluded area, where he allegedly attempted to sexually assault her before stealing her cell phone.
Police say trail cameras in the city helped identify and locate Miles after the attack. The victim was taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries…
