Tesla opens first Kentucky store, selling EVs directly. What’s next?

For the first time, Elon Musk-led Tesla is selling its lineup of electric vehicles from a Kentucky store.

Tesla has been offering direct vehicle sales to buyers from its 11701 Gateworth Way store in Middletown, Kentucky since June, according to a Tesla sales advisor, and carries all five Tesla models: Model S, Model 3, Model Y, Model X and the Cybertruck. The location also offers leasing, demo drives and a service center.

The Gateworth Way store, off Interstate 64, is Tesla’s first in the state. Before its opening, Louisville buyers had to trek to Cincinnati to find Tesla’s nearest direct sales location.
