STANTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Brian Epperson, the man court documents tie to multiple overdose deaths, faces new charges after a grand jury was convened.
Court records show that Epperson was indicted on Monday, Aug. 25, on charges including murder, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and tampering with physical evidence. The charges stem from the suspicious death of 32-year-old Kristen Morris.

The investigation began on May 31, when Morris was found dead inside a Patsy Road Airbnb. She’d reportedly been staying there with 44-year-old Brian Epperson, and the coroner noted finding tablets filled with an unknown substance.
Investigators received a toxicology report over 20 days after her death. According to court documents, it showed that Morris had overdosed on methamphetamine, but her levels were unusually high.
“Morris had suffered an overdose, with her ng/ml of blood being 57,000+. The medical examiner’s office stated a typical overdose would be approximately 200 ng/mL of blood,” court documents read…
