In a raucous Nashville arena, in front of a sea of red, the Cats weren’t just competing with No. 1 Nebraska; they were dominating them. And then, just as quickly as it started, the magic faded, momentum swung, and a dream victory devolved into a gut-wrenching five-set loss (25-23, 25-20, 19-25, 23-25, 8-15) that will sting for some time.
