Advocates call for awareness of baby boxes after Lexington infant death case

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The case of Laken Snelling, the 21-year-old University of Kentucky student charged with concealing the death of an infant, is raising a difficult question for many: Why?

Just this year, Lexington unveiled its first Safe Haven Baby Box, just 10 minutes away from Snelling’s Park Avenue home.
