Cops in Kentucky were startled to find a dead newborn wrapped in a plastic bag — and accused the infant’s mother of being behind the grim discovery.
The mother, a 21-year-old University of Kentucky cheerleader named Laken Snelling, stands accused of abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence and concealing the birth of an infant. The Lexington Police Department was called around 10:30 a.m. Thursday about an unresponsive infant at a home in the 400 block of Park Avenue, just blocks away from campus.
