LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – On Tuesday, WKYT Investigates looked at one of the biggest expenses for Fayette County Public Schools, payroll.
An area recently placed on the chopping block by Superintendent Dr. Demetrus Liggins is professional leave. On August 28th, he announced FCPS would be “restricting overnight professional learning at the district level,” to save approximately $750,000.
