A frustrated Mark Stoops took the podium following Kentucky’s 30-23 loss to Ole Miss, offering a mix of familiar refrains, frank admissions of failure, and one significant hint that a major change could be coming on offense.
While giving credit to Ole Miss, Stoops did not shy away from the glaring mistakes that cost his team a winnable game.
“Got off to a good start, did a lot of good things, but it’s obvious we have to look at some things,” Stoops said. “Quite frankly, it’s inexcusable, some of it. I like the fight of this team, but we have to improve in some areas.”
