LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Budget battles inside Fayette County Public Schools are far from over, and tensions spilled into this week’s meeting.
The working budget for FCPS comes in at more than $690 million in the general fund, down from the tentative budget of $715 million.

The school board met once again on Monday, with debate centering on the district’s contingency fund, a point of dispute not just from board members, but for community voices as well.
