LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Investigators remain tight-lipped following the arrest of a former University of Kentucky student-athlete after a baby was found in the closet of her Park Avenue home.
The arrest of 21-year-old Laken Snelling captured nationwide attention, yet it has left the community with more questions than answers. FOX 56 has obtained the Lexington Police Department’s incident reports to fill the gaps.

It was just after 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27, when the initial 911 call was placed. The report showed that dispatch received the call at 10:34 a.m. The caller’s name and phone number have been redacted.
“Complainant just found a dead baby in a closet; it is cold to the touch,” the dispatcher noted…
