Company to close Ky. plant, lay off more than 100 workers

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WKYT) – Leggett & Platt has announced it will permanently close its Georgetown Adjustable Bed operation, resulting in the loss of about 122 jobs.

In a WARN letter, the company said the closure is due to “difficult business conditions” and is aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
