LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Lexington police are investigating a Thursday morning shooting that left a man fighting for his life.
The Lexington Fire Department said first responders were called around 11:08 a.m. on Sept. 18 to the intersection of Winburn Drive and McCullough Drive in response to a shooting.
Crime scene tape was visible near the Winburn Fruit Supermarket, and FOX 56 crews on scene said that a helicopter was circling the area.
