FRANKFORT, Ky. (FOX 56) — A six-car pileup on Friday, Sept. 12, left three people dead and three injured on I-64 west in Woodford County.
At 7:36 p.m. on Sept. 12, Woodford County’s mass notification system reported that traffic was being diverted, and drivers should expect increased travel time. Just after 7 a.m. on Saturday, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced that all lanes in the area had been cleared, with crews staying at the scene to work on the shoulder.
