1 hurt in Lexington neighborhood shooting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — One person was taken to the hospital early Saturday morning after a shooting in a Lexington neighborhood in the Pimlico Parkway area.

Around 2:15 a.m. on Sept. 20, officers were sent to the 1100 block of Mt. Rushmore Way in response to a shooting with a victim, according to a Facebook post from the Lexington Police Department.

At the scene, officers found a man who had been shot, authorities said. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
