LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – An exotic bird was rescued outside a Lexington pizza restaurant earlier this week.
Officials with Lexington Fayette-Animal Care & Control said a diamond dove native to Australia was found in poor condition at Sir Pizza on New Circle Road.
Two Sir Pizza employees found the bird by a dumpster outside the restaurant.
