GARRARD COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — A man is recovering on Sunday after being taken to the hospital following a “mental health crisis” at Tom Dorman Nature Preserve on the border of Jessamine and Garrard County, according to an announcement from the sheriff’s office.
The Garrard County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook that on Sept. 28, deputies were informed about the situation and responded promptly with rescue team members and other first responders.

Just after midnight on Sunday, Garrard County emergency personnel announced on social media that the nature preserve had been temporarily closed to the public.
