2 parachutists charged after allegedly leaping from Clays Ferry Bridge: ‘I broke my leg’

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Two people parachuted off the Clays Ferry Bridge Monday afternoon.

The Lexington Police Department said officers were dispatched around 3 p.m. to the 9000 block of Old Richmond Road for a welfare check after two people were seen parachuting from the Clays Ferry Bridge.

Witnesses said one of the parachuters screamed in pain and yelled, “I broke my leg!” when they landed.
