Concerns arise regarding protective orders following domestic violence tragedies

CENTRAL KENTUCKY (WKYT) – In recent months, several tragedies across Central Kentucky have shared a common thread.

A murder-suicide in Clark County, a double homicide in Rowan County and a shooting rampage in Fayette County have all been tied by law enforcement and friends of victims to domestic violence or interpersonal violence.

Some of the perpetrators had protection orders in place against them, causing some to question whether more needs to be done to protect victims…
