Clark County student gets a weird ride to school

CLARK COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Clark County student had a weird start to their school day on Monday.

Fourth-grader Lucy caught the coolest ride in town, riding to school in a Winchester fire engine.

Her family won the VIP ride through a school auction. With flashing lights and sirens, Lucy rolled up in true firefighter style.

She even got a quick lesson on the fire engine from Chief Chris Whiteley, Battalion Chief Scotty Bell, and Firefighter William Birch, making it a school drop-off she’ll never forget…
