GEORGETOWN, Ky. (FOX 56) — Deputies with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office are investigating after a man was killed on Wednesday evening in a two-vehicle head-on crash where alcohol and texting while driving both reportedly played a role.
Around 7:45 p.m. on Oct. 22, deputies were sent to the 2400 block of Frankfort Pike in response to reports of an injury crash involving a pickup truck and an SUV.
The sheriff’s office posted on Facebook around 7 a.m. on Thursday that when authorities got to the scene, they found a passenger who’d been severely injured. Emergency personnel and deputies tried to save his life, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
