Man charged in Woodford Co. shooting that injured juvenile

VERSAILLES, Ky. (WKYT) – A man has been charged in a Woodford County shooting that injured a juvenile.

According to an arrest citation, Jai Burgess is charged with first-degree assault and wanton endangerment.

Versailles police say they responded to the community hospital Saturday just before 7 p.m. in reference to a juvenile that had been shot in the leg.
