PARIS, Ky. — Some people in Paris, Kentucky, are calling for a local motel allegedly linked to drug trafficking and other illegal activity to be shut down permanently because of its proximity to elementary school children.
Paris Elementary School is located right next to the Colonial Motel, an establishment police say is a focal point for drug trafficking and other illegal activities. Now, nearly 1,400 people have signed a petition calling for local and state leaders to shut it down.
