Nicholasville cafe donates to food bank as SNAP benefits face cuts

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) – More than 600,000 Kentuckians could see their SNAP benefits cut in two days as the federal government shutdown continues, but local businesses are stepping up to help fill the gap.

Luna’s Coffee, Wine, and Butterfly Cafe in Nicholasville has committed to donating one dollar to God’s Pantry Food Bank for every meal they sell.
