The Madison County Sheriff’s Office says it is investigating a report of needles found in Halloween candy.
The sheriff’s office said it was called to Hager Drive on Friday, and “according to the complainant, they had been trick-or-treating in the area off Highway 1016 in Berea. Upon returning home and inspecting the candy, they discovered needles inside a package of Twizzlers.
“At this time, two needles have been recovered. The investigation is ongoing.”…
