Sprinkler issue temporarily displaces over 60 UK students

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A sprinkler line malfunction has displaced over 60 students in a University of Kentucky residence hall.

UK officials said around 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a sprinkler line malfunctioned in Pigman Hall, damaging units on the first, second, and third floors.

All 66 impacted students have been temporarily relocated while maintenance teams assess the damage and begin repairs, according to UK.
