Scott County, KY — A routine traffic stop in Scott County turned into a significant drug and firearm bust late Thursday night, when deputies discovered large quantities of illegal narcotics, cash, and loaded weapons inside a vehicle.
According to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, deputies uncovered a stash of powerful drugs and several firearms during the stop, marking one of the most substantial seizures in recent months.
Deputies Find Drugs, Cash, and Firearms
During the search, deputies reportedly confiscated:
- 4 pounds of methamphetamine
- 1.2 pounds of fentanyl
- 8 ounces of cocaine
- Additional unspecified narcotics
- $12,898 in cash
- Three loaded firearms, each equipped with high-capacity magazines
Officials described the discovery as a major success in the ongoing fight against drug trafficking and illegal firearm possession in the region.
