LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Morning wind chills tumble into the 20s, making it feel downright bitter even as actual temperatures climb into the upper 30s and low 40s. By afternoon, readings hover in the upper 30s across central and eastern Kentucky with low 40s farther west.
Later in the day, winds shift around to the west and southwest, and really crank up; gusts could top out near 40 mph in some spots. The good news? Those same winds help usher in a much milder stretch by late week and into the weekend…
