Lexington whooping cough cases rise, 11 cases total

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Whooping cough cases in Fayette County have risen to 11, according to the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department.

10 out of the 11 cases were in school-age children, with the following schools being impacted:

  • Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, five cases
  • Lafayette High School, three cases
  • Lansdowne Elementary School, one case
  • Lexington Christian Academy High School, one case
