Lexington police have closed part of Nicholasville Road near a school, department spokesperson Hannah Sloan said just after 11 a.m. Thursday.
“At this time, the right inbound lane of Nicholasville Road has been temporarily shut down. If you have traveling in the area, expect a heavier police presence. We will provide an update as information becomes available,” Sloan said.
