Two Lexington-Fayette Animal Care & Control employees are credited with helping to protect a child found wandering a busy Lexington road Monday.
The employees, a recruit and a sergeant, were on their way to a call when they noticed the boy along an unspecified stretch of New Circle Road. The employees stopped and kept the boy safe until police arrived to assist.
